Do I need insurance for my event?
If you will be serving alcohol at your event, or if you will have outside vendors (caterers, florists, planners, DJ, etc.) you are required to obtain Liability insurance for your event. This is for your protection against claims resulting from injuries and damage to other people or property at your event. This type of insurance can generally be acquired through your regular insurance provider or other online sources.
Do you provide linens?
No, not at this time. All of our tables are standard sizes. Let us know if you need exact sizing for linen rentals and we will be happy to provide this for you.
Does the barn have heat and air?
The barn does offer both heat and air.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a 'rustic barn venue' with limited insulation and will not hold heat and cool at the same level a home would. When the weather is very warm or very cold, the barns internal temperature will reflect that.
What is required to reserve a date?
To book, we require a signed copy of our contract and a 75% non-refundable deposit.
Do you have Wi-fi?
No. We cannot receive Wi-Fi services due to our location.
Do you provide a vendor recommendations list?
Yes. We allow brides to select their own vendors due to personal preference and budget, but we will be happy to provide suggestions in the area if needed.
Do I have to have a wedding planner?
No. However, we do ask that you appoint a Day-Of Coordinator. This person will be responsible for communicating the planned timeline of events and any change to that schedule to our team so that we can provide you with the best service. The Sweet Tree staff is also available to help with planning your event. Simply inquire about our planning services with any staff member.
